Over 100,000 homes signed up for household charge...

Figures released by the Department of the Environment www.environ.ie show the registration for the household charge have passed the 100,000 mark. These leaves the Government way off their target of 1.6 million homes to be signed up by their deadline of 31st March 2012.

With over 93% of homes still to register it looks like many homes will be levied with late registration fees and interest.
